Community Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy
Last updated: [date].
10.1 Everyone welcome
PSC does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion, national origin, ancestry, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital or partnership status, pregnancy or reproductive status, age, disability, military status, immigration status, or any other characteristic protected by New York State or New York City Human Rights Law. Instructors will make reasonable modifications for pregnancy, disability and religious observance on request.
10.2 Respect on premises
We expect all members, guests, staff, contractors and visitors to treat each other with respect. Harassment, discriminatory conduct, sexual harassment, threats, intimidation, unwanted physical contact and abusive language are not permitted, at any of our premises, in our online spaces, or in any interaction connected with PSC.
10.3 Reporting
Report any concern to any staff member on site, or in confidence to info@pilatesocialclub.com. We take all reports seriously, investigate promptly, and communicate with the reporter about the outcome to the extent we lawfully can. Retaliation against a person who reports in good faith is itself a violation.
10.4 Consequences
Verified breaches lead to warnings, suspension or termination of the account, pro-rata refund of prepaid unused credits, and, where warranted, referral to law enforcement.
10.5 Dress code
We ask that clothing be suitable for reformer exercise. We do not police body type, body hair or gender expression. Grip socks are the only mandatory item.
10.6 Fragrance and cleanliness
For the comfort of the class, please arrive freshly showered where possible, avoid heavy fragrances, and wipe down your reformer after class.
10.7 Recording
As set out in the Media Policy.
